Our Client Deerpark Limited approached us to develop and manage marketing promos aimed at selling its luxury villas going at an asking price of 1.2 Million USD and located in the plush Karen Area. Boogertman + Partners Architects Kenya, whose projects include; East Africa’s biggest shopping mall, the new Two Rivers in Nairobi, Nelson Mandela’s family house in Maputo, Mozambique, and the Wangari Muta Maathai House in Kenya which was shortlisted for the 2016 World Architecture Festival Awards, are the architects that designed Deerpark Karen.
Scope of Work: Develop, deploy and manage Digital Marketing Promos to sell the remaining Deerpark Villas. We also manage the all Deerpark Properties social media handles. Get a glimpse on just one handle (https://www.facebook.com/deerparkkaren).
Challenge: To reach customers that could easily afford to buy a luxury villa in the range of 1.2 million US dollars (Kshs 120 million).
How We did it: We begun with building a new website for Deerpark Karen. We designed and built a gallery style website because Deerpark Karen had been completed, the houses ready for occupation and they were at a stage where they needed the Show house brought to life in the digital space. We did just that and undertook Search Engine Optimization for the new website. All this in just 7 Days, and we were LIVE!
This was then followed by a content strategy defining what, when and how we would communicate. Video was our flagship method of communication because our role was to own the digital space for Deerpark. We developed and deployed promotional videos from footage that Deerpark already had shot earlier in the year and we gave it the social media spin that ensured that they grabbed audiences and retained them. Our main video above is 1.28s long and YouTube data revealed an average watch time of 1.11s which was 82% retention rate and thats hugely successful for such a long video. We also developed many 15 second adverts that went in as reminders and sales closers. A Responsive email was also designed in Deerpark’s look and feel and has been deployed to agents selling high end properties. In the end, all communication was released to the right target audiences only (i.e. those that could buy the 1.2 million property) based on Oakwood’s unique target audience mining system.
